This challenge is designed to set you on the right path to your fitness success. I’m going to teach you the fundamentals of consuming calories and tracking macros. I’ll also explain exactly what calories and macros are, and how they affect you.
I’ll explain the fundamentals of building muscle, losing weight, and which approach you should take based on your goals. I want you to maximize your time in the gym!

What is my goal for people who join my transformation challenges?I create these transformation challenges to help you test your limits and become a better, more knowledgeable version of yourself! My ultimate goal is to help you create healthy lifestyle habits that last you a lifetime. This 8-week challenge is designed to set you on the right path to your fitness success.

Will my progress pictures be shared with the group or with the public?I create a highlight video of the challenge once it's over. Before I create that video, I ask everyone in the challenge if they would mind if I use their pics. If someone says no, it's a hard no. If they don't mind that I use their pic, I do.

What will I learn in your challenge?I’m going to teach you the fundamentals of consuming calories and tracking macros. I’ll also explain exactly what calories and macros are, and how they affect you. I’ll explain the fundamentals of building muscle, losing weight and which approach you should take based on your goals. I want you to maximize your time in the gym!

Is there an age limit?You must be a minimum of 16 years old. There is no maximum age limit.

How long is the challenge?This is an 8 week challenge and the winners will be announced one weeek after the 8 weeks have been completed. However, for those who want to continue their fitness journmey, I am also including a 4 week add-on option.

Do you provide a meal plan?Yes, I provide multiple meal plans at different calorie levels.

Do you provide a workout plan?Yes, I provide a workout plan.

What happens after the challenge ends but I still want to continue my fitness journey?I offer a 4-week add-on option of the challenge! I also offer an aftercare program that can be customized to you specifically. You can choose either of these options at any time throughout the challenge!

Is the Challenge Suitable for Beginners?Yes! This challenge is designed for anyone who is looking to become healthier, stronger, more knowledgeable and take care of themselves in the long run. Everyone is an individual and should approach this challenge from their own fitness level. Regardless of where you start, the goal is to make incremental improvements week over week.

What Equipment or Resources are Needed?At minimum, all you need is a pair of dumbbells and a yoga mat. Having multiple sets of dumbbells would be great to accommodate your strength gains throughout the 8 weeks, but not required. Best case scenario, you have a gym membership to where you can take advantage of all the gyms resources.

How Do I Track My Progress?You will track your progress in my Joey Speakes Fitness App! In the app, you’ll be able to track your meals, workouts, measurements, and progress pics. Once you join the challenge, you’ll have access to my app for the duration of the challenge.

Can the Challenge be Customized to Individual Needs?If you join me In my aftercare program, I can customize your meal plan and workouts. However, during the challenge, I give multiple options for the meal plans depending on the number of calories you need to lose weight or calories you need in order to gain weight/muscle. For the workouts, you can modify exercises as needed. In the private facebook group or in our weekly check-ins, you can let me know what you think you need modified, and I will guide you through that process.
